Virginia Time Travel is a thirty minute television show that brings Virginia history and culture alive in an entertaining and informative manner. The show is designed to appeal to a diverse, multi-generational audience.
Over 100 shows have now aired. Shows have included such diverse topics as: a modern critical look at George Washington, an interview with the City Archaeologist of Alexandria, an exploration of the world of pirates, an interview with the head of the nationally famous Women in the Military museum, an interview with the curator of the Carlyle House, an interview with the curator of the National Firearms Museum, a show on the search for the lost Confederate Treasury, and a talk with the owners of Virginia’s only legal moonshine operation. Numerous authors have also visited the show to talk about their recent books and research.
